You know, it's funny how some folks find a sport bike too fast, yet others find a cruiser way too slow. Lately I've been reading a Buell 'newsboard' to find out more info regarding Buell's new thumper, and I found this item (I snipped a bunch of stuff) posted at the address:

I complained/stated to a fellow Bueller on how it was funny, that in riding with the Harley folks that we slowed down for the turns instead of charging into them with the requisite sportbike enthuasiasim.

In what I thought was a sensible manuver, most of the sportbikes led the pack and briskly made their way through the beautifuly twisting roads of eastern PA unfettered by the slothful Harley riders. I unfortunately was not one of them, as I and several other riders followed a Harley rider whose fringed chaps, jacket, handlebars and bags no doubt created overpowering wind drag. Ah, but road splits into two lanes just ahead, and the two riders behind me see this wonderful opportunity as well. One guy (CBR) passes me first, I hit the gas and follw him at about 70mph into a curve that could be very safely negotiated at 80mph. I can only assume that he must have become wide-eyed with speed and forgot about making the bike follow the curve, so he went straight, got airborn on a berm and spent the next 200yards or so tryng to stop his bike. He got his speed down to about 25-30 or so before he and the bike flipped over three times.

It goes on further, but it's funny how this guy mocks some cruiser riders for going into a curve at 70 mph (130 kph) and yet doesn't seem to realize why even after another sportbike rider gets into an accident because he can't handle it.
